After an exhibition: Düsseldorf Boat Show 2015

The exhibition held between 17-25 January.

Our Yacht Building & Refit team had a chance to visit Düsseldorf Boat Show on days 23 and 24 of January. Because of its size with a total of 13 exhibition halls and it is carried out for 46 years, many participants and visitors took place on this year also.

Very wide variety of participant companies from diving to beach sports, from fishing to rowing, from the boats of various sizes and types to marine art, sailing and materials and even to have a variety of up to holiday organization also makes a success the fair in general.

Here are the summary of our team view on the exhibition;

1. The effects of the crisis still shows itself most clearly, therefore, almost visitors do not have attention to the new building shipyards’stands despite there are more visitors in the stands related to refit and maintenance.

2. We have not seen Russian and Arab countries’ visitors. The reason can be the economic problems that also in Russia, and because of the loss of income in the Arab peninsula due to the decline in the oil market.

3. In the halls where Fabrication boats stand on able to find more visitors, but looks that much of them are not a potential customers. In these stands fishing boats and trawler-style boats in varied much more than the traditional craft and also attract more attention.

4. When we review the product portfolio, we can say we are in a good position with our good quality of custom-made yacht buildings and also refit projects in our represented Turkish yards.
